Reels new feature: templates

Reels are trying to make it super easy for the average-go to have a crack at creating Instagram reels. And now it’s even easier.

In my latest Reel tutorial - you’ll see that a ‘use template’ button popped up on my screen. Once I pressed this, it was automatically sectioned out to add 10 x videos all at pre-set times! This means there’s no more use for Splice, Inshot or any third party editing app, and you can just do these edits directly in reels itself.

NOTE: Reels Templates are only available for Reels with multiple clips that have been edited together within Instagram. If a video has been fully edited outside of the app, Instagram cannot identify the different time stamps for each clip.
